In the internet era, Homeopathy has been coming under a great amount of critics over the past few years. The American former magician and skeptic, James Randi, challenged 1 million dollars to anyone who is able to prove that homeopathic treatments healed diseases. Till no one brake the challenge won the amount.
Like all members of the skeptic fraternity, Randi is an anti alternative medicine believer. He considers homeopathy to be fraud and classify it as supernatural because homeopathic remedies are diluted beyond Avogadro`s constant. So these remedies should not have any biological benefit, according to conventional science. Randi has been involved in a few attempts at debunking homeopathy over the years, and is one of it`s violent critics.

I support homeopathy, because I and my family benefited with it. Some of the conditions mine and my family that are relieved by homeopathic treatment are:
Giddiness, sleep disorder, panic attack, indigestion, colic, migraine, psoriasis, eye twitting, hypertension, frequent cold attack in child.
I don’t claim all the above conditions are cured fully by it as normally claimed by most of the homeopathic doctors (that is why homeopathy is criticized most). I just claimed that all the above conditions are relieved and show some progress without any known side effects.
I frequently came across one thing in homeopathic remedy; it is not conforming that all of the chosen homeopathic remedies works. Some time it will not work, if there is no improvement within 2 to 4 dosage then it is confirm that it is not working for that individual. And need to choose another remedy precisely for that individual.
Also for certain condition, when one remedy was chosen that works in the beginning and slowly after completed its work, it loses it function and does not work anymore. At that time we need to choose another remedy for that same condition (we feel it is the same condition, but actually the over all symptom got changed and the severity of the condition lowered) and for that same individual.

Though my comment will only be recorded as anecdotal, it is a fact!.
My Mother was diagnosed with a heart problem and she was told that she would need to have a heart bypass. Because of her age, I asked her consultant if we could try Homeopathy as a first measure. The consultant agreed and my mother was monitored over a six week period. Much to the consultants surprise and interest, at the end of this period the bypass operation was no longer required.
The list of remedies given , was asked for by the consultant as he wished to make further investigations into using Homeopathy in other similar cases. My mother made a full recovery and lived for a number of years with no re-occurence of any heart condition.
So far from being crackpot ideas, Homeopathy has a firm place in the current culture, where GP's over-prescribe drugs and take little notice of the numerous side effects that these drugs cause.

It was built by moving huge stones, lifting them and placing it even without any huge machinery that we have today. It is one of the most comprehensively studied buildings in the world. Though the chemical composition of the mortar used to build this is known, it could not be reproduced using the present techniques.

Homeopathy has been under great amount of critics over the past few years. The legendary American former magician and sceptic, James Randi, CHALLENGED homeopathic practitioner by offered one million dollars to any individual that was able to prove homeopathy.
I hope James Randi put this challenge just for the goodness of the people in this world, if it is true then here I like to counter-challenge without any money (because I am not a big shot to do so). I request him (and others who put similar challenges) to leave behind things such as 1 million dollar, science, etc and accept to take homeopathic treatment for any of the condition he has (condition that is not had any danger if leave it without any proper treatment for few days), once his condition vanishes then he has to accept that homeopathy works. I hope he will be ready for this, because as per his words; homeopathy is just sugar and distilled water (nothing in it just placebo).
I welcome Mr. James Randi to accept this offer; once he accepted this offer then I am confident we (supporters of homeopathy) can get one more fan for homeopathy.
I like to rise one question if scientific methods are false proof and perfect, then why should there are lot of conventional medicines that are removed from the market because of their danger. All the conventional medicines are released into the market only after so called stringent clinical trials carried out or funded by big drug companies. Then how these medicines can produces dangerous side effects, because experience & long term study with vast number of people is much more important than so called limited clinical trials. Basic clinical trials to prove the efficacy of homeopathy is actually relatively easy. Of the many clinical trials that have been carried out, no quality trials show ANY benefits whatsoever.
The reason is not because it's some kind of scientific mystery, the reason is because homeopathy does not work! This is what the clinical trials tell us: They do not conclude with "we don't know how homeopathy works" they conclude with "homeopathy has no effect whatsoever".
IF there was an effect it could be debated that science has not got the answer. But there is NO effect and so no debate!

For anything to work properly needs some predefined procedures. As said before homeopathy is highly individualized. For example; if immunization is performed without proper sterilization and improper storage of the medicine (not properly refrigerated), then the whole immunization may end up with tragedy. There's no need to deal with people's stories about homeopathy (people have stories about ghosts, magic and other nonsense too!) when we can easily test these claims.
Homeopathy has been tested many times and found not to work, ever. The only reason it exists in countries such as India is because the government there cannot regulate it properly. When they do start regulating it, these pretend doctors will be out of work, just as it is happening in the UK.

Just Big Pharmaceutical companies are got the fear of loosing their business or at least loss certain big volume of business. So they starting campaign against homeopathic treatment.
I personally benefited with homeopathy by getting cured from psoriasis within 2 month of treatment. Also my whole family; my son, my daughter-in-low and my grandson. So I am confirm homeopathy work (once if you got a knowledgeable homeopathic practitioner), absolutely no chance for placebo effect in the case of psoriasis. HA HA HA!!!!!! First let us know about Mr. James Randy, who is he? He is a Canadian American stage magician. Who are magicians? Magicians are the ones who make money by fooling others with their intelligent tricks.
George Vithoulkas is today an Honorary Professor of the Moscow Medical Academy (Academy of Medical Sciences), Professor in the Kiev Medical Academy and Collaborating Professor in Basque Medical University (2001-2004).
The facts about an ingenious homeopathic experiment that was not completed due to the “tricks” of Mr. James Randi.
Mr. Randi asked from us to forget all previous correspondence after we discovered the false, slanderous and deceptive posting at his website JREF with the title: “Another Withdrawal”.
Mr. Randi changed the terms of agreement when he saw that everything was ready for starting the experiment. While his representatives were discussing with Prof. George Vithoulkas in Alonissos (September 2008), he was publicizing to his website that the Greek homeopaths had withdrawn!!!
Mr. Randi pretends that he ignores the fact that we had already the permission and the facilities for a second time though we had informed the “skeptics”.
Mr. Randi wants to change even the terms of protocol that took years to be contracted!!
Actually Mr. Randi is dismissing his previous collaborators, Mr. Alec Gindis and Mr. Hrasko Gabor!!!
It was clear now for a second time that when everything was in place in order to start the experiment, Mr. Randi didn’t wish to go ahead and found ridiculous excuses for withdrawing.
Consequently, as a least compensation, for the moral damage caused to Greek homeopaths and to the homeopathic community in general, we demand:
1. The apologies from Mr. Randi personally posted at his website.
2. The retraction of the text “Another Withdrawal” from all sites.
3. This document to be posted in the same place in the website of JREF where the "withdrawal statement" was posted.
4. A legal, notarized statement retracting the last statement of 17.10.2008 that has cancelled all Mr. Randi’s previous commitments.
If Mr. Randi fulfils all these conditions we will continue as planned. If these conditions are not fulfilled within a month, we will consider that Mr. Randi has withdrawn from the experiment. In any case, we will go ahead and complete the experiment without Mr. Randi, only with the help of sceptics Mr. Alec Gindis and Mr Hrasko Gabor who really care in seen this experiment finally completed.
