  1. Increase Sodium intake: Many low blood pressure causes are due to dehydration with the mineral (electrolyte) loss. It can replace by increasing the intake of the sodium salt.
  2. Drink more liquids: Drinking enough water is more important for your well-being. If you are prone to dehydrate easily, then you must need to drink more fluids than you lose.
  3. Avoid alcohol: Alcohol is dehydrating, and it may lower blood pressure even if a person drinks in moderation. So, patients with hypotension should avoid alcohol consumption.
  4. Increase caffeine: Caffeine can stimulate adrenal gland and thus temporally makes you alert, increase concentration, feel brisk without fatigue, and raises blood pressure. However, caffeine is a diuretic thus in some blood pressure might lower afterwards. So those who experience drop in blood pressure should avoid caffeine.
  5. Compression stockings: The same elastic stockings and leotards used to relieve the pain and swelling of varicose veins may help reduce the pooling of blood in the legs.
  6. Healthy diet: Have a healthy diet and break down your diet many smaller diets with reduced interval between diets. It helps you to maintain your energy level in the body and no more fatigue and tiredness.
  7. Be slow in the activities: Always be slow from sitting to standing position. Before getting out of bed in the morning; breath deeply for a few minutes and then slowly sit up before standing.
  8. Change your sleeping position: Sleeping with the head slightly elevated can help fight the effects of gravity. It helps to avoid the symptoms of dizziness or lightheadedness.
  9. Proper leg movements: If a symptom happens while standing, cross the thighs in a scissors fashion and squeeze or put one foot on a ledge or chair and lean as far forward as possible. These maneuvers encourage blood to flow from the legs to the heart.
  10. Manage stress properly: You always keep your mind calm by practicing yoga, meditation, tai chi, etc. Keep yourself away from tension, anxiety, and shock.
